Since 1/11/2000, over 600 books have been collected for Bai Wan of which mostly have
been donated to Bai Wan Secondary School. These books were mainly collected through e-cycle.
The Swindon Book Store donated 3 boxes of books to Bai Wan in June 2001 and these books were distributed to various
schools there during the July visit in the same year. OUP(HK) donated 3 boxes of books for the primary schools in
Baiwan in January 2002. Jiu Zhang Publishing Co. donated over a thousand mathematics books in summer 2003 to all
schools in Baiwan and Feng Xia Middle School. Toysrus (HK) donated 20 chess sets and a big box of balloons for schools
in Baiwan in November 2003.
Since year 2000, a lot of money was collected to help upgrading facilities in various schools in Baiwan. These
include buying computers, music, PE and Art equipment, desks, chairs and blackboards for special rooms, and books for
the library. We also received donation to fix the drainage system in Bei An Primary School as well as to build a sand pit
for Hao Qiang Primary School. Please refer to Past Event for details.
