In light of the hardships of Bai Wan, a lot of money has been put in the community from all over the world including Hong Kong, Macau and Japan. New school buildings and a children's home were built since 1995 and some scholarships are also established. |

| Although the capital costs of infrastructures are looked after, the recurrent costs of daily operations of schools have to be funded by the school fees collected from students. Despite the hard work of teachers, the quality of education provided in schools cannot be upgraded. |  |
